Immunization Progress Being Made At Windsor-Essex Schools

The number of Windsor-Essex students without proper immunization shots or records now stands at around 2,000.

That's down from around 3,600 two weeks ago.

The local health unit credits several night and weekend clinics for cutting the number nearly in half.

The students have until February 27 to comply or face suspension as early as the next day.

Suspension notices were sent to students born in 1999 and 2000.
