Express Knock Down Highlanders 113-92

The Windsor Express extended their winning streak to four games with a 113-92 victory over the Cape Breton Highlanders on Friday.

The Express took a seven point lead in the first quarter and extended it to a 58-39 lead at halftime.

Windsor remained on top in the third to make it 86-68 heading into the third, and continued to hammer Cape Breton in the final frame to win with a 21 point lead.

Warren Ward led Windsor with 20 points and two rebounds, while  Nick Evans had 19 points and 9 rebounds. Wally Ellenson put up another 18 points and three rebounds.

The Express are at home on Sunday when they take on the Niagara River Lions at 2pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
