New Regional Tourism Videos Released

All municipalities in the region have a new tool to promote tourism.

In partnership with Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island each town had a video made promoting its attractions.

"They want to promote just the experience, to make it something that will resonate, will make it authentic and make it be compelling that you would be able to, as the potential visitor, see yourself in that experience," says TWEPI CEO Gordon Orr.

In April, TWEPI plans to launch a social media campaign to really promote the videos and the region.

"We'll be paying to boost and support and push out the videos, highlighting a different one every two-three weeks," says Orr.

Each municipality has been given its video which can be used for marketing however they see fit. Orr says these can be living documents that can be edited to add new additions and attractions.
