Windsor police are investigating a theft that occurred at a jewelry store in Devonshire Mall earlier this month.

On February 8, a man who was looking at a boxed ring set in the store, removed a ring and returned the empty box to the employee. The theft was not discovered until well after the man left the store.

He was seen leaving the mall in a newer model blue, four-door Hyundai, with Ontario license plates.
