Windsor Police Situation Ends with No Arrests

A police situation in Windsor's west end ended Monday night with no arrests.

Officers surrounded an apartment building on Sandwich St at South St shortly after 3pm on a threats call.  Police say the incident began when two people began arguing in the building and one threatened the other.  Three people were handcuffed by police, but were later released without charges.  A search of the area turned up no weapons.

Sandwich St between Watkins and Chippewa was closed and police had asked people to stay clear of the area while the situation was ongoing.

The area was reopened to traffic later in the evening.
