Leamington Well Successfully Capped

A Leamington family will finally be able to return home after gas leak from an abandoned well forced them to leave their home four months ago.

A localized state of emergency was declared at the residence on Robson Rd. when the natural gas leak was discovered in October.

The well has been successfully capped and the area has been deemed safe by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
