WSO Helps Parish Celebrate Centennial

Holy Trinity Polish Parish is celebrating 100 years in the community this weekend with a Windsor Symphony Orchestra concert.

The concert is open to the public and is free of charge. It begins at 7:00 pm at the parish on the corner of Langlois Ave. and Ellis St.

"The concert is a gesture of appreciation of our parishioners for 100 years of living together in peace, harmony, faith and fellowship with our fellow residents of this great and proud city - Windsor," said Richard Kusmierczyk, chair of the Centennial Committee.

The church celebrated its first mass on October 9, 1917 with Rev. Jan Andrzejewski as the first pastor. Now there are 5,000 parishioners at the church.

The church is celebrating its centennial with events year round ending in a a Thanksgiving Mass on Sunday October 22, 2017. For a full list of events throughout the year year, click here.
