App Nouveau Canada Software Consulting Group is opening its North American headquarters in Tecumseh.
ANC serves government and private corporations with custom software and apps to meet their needs.
CEO Ed De Leon is excited to locate in Windsor-Essex.
"Our team consists of developers from this region, and we know that as we grow we will be able to attract more talent from local institutions," says De Leon. "Locating here makes great business sense [because of] lower cost of lease rates, the location with access to US markets, a great quality of life and the availability of talent."
Tecumseh Mayor Gary McNamara thinks it's great news for the local industry.
He explains, "So many new technologies are being developed by local talent and we are happy [ANC] is choosing to stay local and open their business here."
Last month, CX North America also chose to open its new branch in Tecumseh.
