Previously, the utility said it could be 4pm Thursday before the power was restored to up to 2,700 customers in an area stretching from Maidstone to Cottam.
The cause is still under investigation.

Gates for the three-day fair will open at the Wyoming Fair Grounds on Main Street on Friday, September 18, at 5 p.m., with opening ceremonies beginning at 7 p.m.
