Search On For Jewellery Thieves

Police are looking for three jewelry thieves who ran off with a ring from a Windsor jewellry store.

The Windsor Police Service says two women entered the store on Howard Ave., between Edinborough St. and Charles St., around 1:15pm last Thursday, and were looking at a ring. The two then left the store and came back a few minutes later to view the same ring.

Police say a man was waiting outside the entrance to the store and held the door for the women who ran out with the ring.

The three then got into a grey car and drove off heading north.

The man is described as black, in his late 20s or early 30s, slender, and was wearing prescription glasses, dark blue jeans and a long-sleeved shirt.

Police have also released surveillance photos of two female suspects.
