Express Down River Lions 112-109

The Windsor Express topped the Niagara River Lions 112-109 following a last second comeback on Wednesday.

At the end of the first quarter the Express led the River Lions by one point, but Windsor fell behind Niagara 52-49 at halftime.

Express were still down 78-70 at the end of the third, but Windsor fought back in the final frame, making it a one point game with 47 seconds left. The Express took the lead in the final seconds to complete the comeback and win by three points.

Juan Pattillo led Windsor with 28 points and ten rebounds.

The Express are at the WFCU Centre on Saturday to take on the Saint John Riptide. Tip off is at 7pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
