Electrical Fire in Downtown High-Rise

Authorities are looking into an electrical fire Saturday night in a downtown Windsor apartment building.

It happened shortly after 8pm at the Royal Windsor Terrace high rise at 380 Pelissier.  Windsor Fire and Rescue says an electrical fire was reported in a seventh-floor unit.

The fire was put out quickly and there were no reports of injuries, but there was smoke damage on the seventh and eighth floors and water damage on the sixth floor.

It is not known what the cause of the fire was or what any damage estimate is.
