It first reported the outages shortly after 9:30am Thursday, but now says the only areas still without power are along Kildare Rd. and Chilver Rd.
More than 1,000 residents and businesses were affected in south Walkerville alone, while hundreds were without electricity through downtown and south central Windsor.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
