What's Open And What's Closed Easter Weekend

The Easter long weekend means a number of closures in Windsor-Essex including government offices.

City and town halls are closed Good Friday and Easter Monday, along with the 311 Call Centre. They'll reopen Tuesday, April 18.

There will not be mail delivery, parking enforcement, garbage or recycling pickup until Tuesday.

The Public Drop-Off and Household Chemical Waste Depot is open Saturday from 9am to 1pm. It is also closed Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Community centres are closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

Libraries and the Chimczuk Museum are shut down Good Friday and Easter Monday but are open regular hours on Saturday and Sunday.

Adventure Bay is closed Easter Sunday.

City buses will also run on a holiday schedule Good Friday and Easter Sunday but on a regular schedule Saturday and Monday.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
