Stabbing Suspect Turns Himself In

A 26-year-old, wanted on aggravated assault charges after a stabbing on Dougall Ave., is in Windsor police custody.

Officers say Emad Adel Ben-Abdellah showed up at police headquarters downtown Wednesday to turn himself in.

The stabbing incident happened just south of the EC Row Exwy., around 3am last Saturday.

A 20-year-old suffered cuts to his face, but the injuries were considered not-life threatening.

Ben-Abdellah now faces charges of robbery and breach of probation, along with aggravated assault.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
