ATV Crash Sends One Person To Hospital

LaSalle police are investigating an ATV collision that has sent one person to hospital with serious injuries.

The collision happened on Mayfair Ave. near Maple St. in LaSalle, around 6:30pm on Saturday.

Police say the ATV was travelling south on Mayfair Ave. when it hit a street sign.

The 44-year-old male driver from LaSalle sustained serious head injuries and was taken to Windsor Regional Hospital.

Mayfair St. was closed for several hours during the on-scene investigation but has since been re-opened.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
