Several Charges Laid Against Windsor Trio

A trio from Windsor has been arrested after allegedly breaking into a dealership over the weekend.

Police say the dealership is in the 10300-block of Tecumseh Rd. E.

Officers observed a suspicious vehicle in the back of the parking lot, pulled up to investigate and found a man attempting to start the engine of a dealership vehicle. The male attempted to flee but was quickly arrested.

Officers also located two people in the suspicious vehicle, arrested them and located property belonging to the business.

A knife, meth, cash and a digital scale were also seized.

Two men, aged 32 and 29, as well as a 24-year-old woman are charged with several offences including attempted theft of a motor vehicle and possession of stolen property.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
