UPDATE: Eastbound Hwy. 401 Reopens In Lakeshore

The Ontario Provincial Police have reopened the eastbound lanes of Hwy. 401 after a two-vehicle crash in Lakeshore.

The crash occurred around 8:30am on Friday, and police say there are injuries but haven't said how severe.

Shortly after the crash, the OPP shut down the eastbound lanes of the highway between Puce Rd. and Belle River Rd.  Those lanes reopened around 9:30am.

A caller to BlackburnNews.com says the collision involved a pickup truck and a car.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
