UPDATE: Homicide In Windsor's East End

Windsor Police Services are investigating a homicide that happened in the city's east end.

Police were called out to the 2900 block of Tecumseh Rd. E. Saturday morning around 3:55am. Police say they found an injured man on the sidewalk.

The male was taken to hospital but died from his injuries.

Police closed off Tecumseh Rd. between Alexis Rd. and Drouillard Rd. on Saturday morning for their investigation. The road was reopened around 3pm Saturday afternoon.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
