OPP Name Man Who Died In Weekend Crash

A passenger who died in a single-vehicle crash on Hwy. 3 in Lakeshore has been identified.

The OPP say 59-year-old Ronald Martin of Kingsville died at the scene Saturday night after the Jeep he was in rolled over east of Manning Rd.

The Jeep's driver, 45-year-old Jay Richards of Windsor, suffered minor injuries and is now charged with impaired driving causing death.

Richards will appear in court June 1.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
