UPDATE: Strong Winds Prompt Flood Warning For Leamington

The Essex Region Conservation Authority (ERCA) has upgraded a flood watch to a flood warning for parts of Leamington.

The conservation authority says strong winds are causing flooding along parts of Robson Rd. and Point Pelee Dr. as waves crash over breakwalls.

Officials with ERCA warn people to stay away from flooded areas and urge drivers to be careful. They also say waves should diminish as the day progresses.
