WPS: Murder Victim May Have Been Hit By Vehicle

An autopsy done on a man found dead in central Windsor this weekend has revealed he died of blunt force trauma.

Investigators say the 43-year-old murder victim may have been struck by a vehicle, with the impact causing his injuries and death.

Officers found the man on the sidewalk near Tecumseh Rd. and Drouillard just before 4am Saturday.

The homicide investigation is ongoing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
