Teens Sprayed With Bear Repellent During Fight

Police are investigating after a fight between a number of teenagers ended with some of them being doused with bear spray.

The Windsor Police Service says on Wednesday around 4pm, officers responded to the area of Tecumseh Rd. E and McDougall St. following the fight, which took place at Jackson Park.  The teens who had been sprayed with bear repellent reportedly ran into W. C. Kennedy Collegiate Institute to wash their eyes.

Police say there were no serious injuries and those involved in the incident are not students at the school.

No charges have been laid at this time but police say an investigation is ongoing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
