Ground Almost Full, But More Rain Coming

Most of Southwestern Ontario has already seen more than 5 cm (2 inches) of rain in since Thursday and Environment Canada says the ground can't hold much more.

Environment Canada says most the rain has fallen and any residual rain is expected to end later Friday evening.  Periods of rain are also expected Saturday throughout the day.

As of 2pm, Belle River and Chatham have seen the most rain, with 51 mm (2 inches). Ridgetown has had 46.3 mm (1.8 inches), Harrow has had 43.9 mm (1.7 inches) and Windsor is absorbing 37.6 mm (1.5 inches).

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
