Express Top Titans In Game 1

The Windsor Express downed the Kitchener Waterloo Titans 112-105 on Friday in Game 1 of the Central Division semi-final series.

At the end of the first quarter the Express trailed the Titans 26-21, but Windsor was able to fight their way to a 53-43 lead going into halftime.

The Express extended their lead to 84-67 at the end of the third, but the Titans gained some ground into the fourth to shrink Windsor's lead and make it 104-101 with minutes left in the game. However, the Express held on to win with a seven point advantage.

Windsor now leads the best-of-five series 1-0.

The two teams are at the Atlas Tube Centre for Game 2 on Sunday. Tip off is at 2pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
