Woman Injured in Windsor Stabbing

Windsor Police are investigating a vicious assault in the downtown core.

The incident occurred late Friday night, according to investigators.  A 19-year-old woman was attacked in an apartment on University Ave E, though somehow the victim worked her way to an address on Lincoln Rd where officers were dispatched.

The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say Samantha Watson and Nicole May, both 21-year-old Windsor residents, were arrested and charged with aggravated assault, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, and possession of a controlled substance.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
