UPDATE: Final Suspects Arrested Following Downtown Assault

Six suspects wanted in connection to the serious assault and confinement of a 19-year-old woman, have now all been arrested.

Windsor police say the assault took place at a downtown apartment building on University Ave. E Saturday night. The 19-year-old victim was later found by police just after midnight Sunday morning, at a home on Lincoln Rd. near Erie St.

The woman suffered non-life threatening injuries during the assault, and was taken to hospital.

Investigators do not believe this was a random act.

Police were able to arrest two 21-year-old women that night on Lincoln Rd. in connection with the assault, and two more people were taken into custody on Monday.

As of Wednesday, officers say the final two suspects have been arrested and charged.

Samantha Watson, Nicole May, Jessica Millar and Marcus Scott, all 21-years old, as well as 24-year-old Christopher Lucier and 28-year-old Cody Carrington, face multiple charges, including aggravated assault and forcible confinement.
