Crash Backs Up Traffic On EC Row

One person has been taken to hospital following a crash that snarled traffic on the EC Row Expwy. in Windsor.

The Windsor Police Service says two vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of the expressway near Howard Ave. on Friday around 3:38pm.

A female occupant of one of the vehicles was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Traffic in the eastbound lanes was restricted to one lane while emergency crews were at the scene.

Police say no charges have been laid at this time.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
