UPDATE: Early Morning Shed Fire Causes $60K Damage

Residents living near Wyandotte St. E and Ellrose Ave. may have woken up to the smell of smoke in their neighbourhood.

A shed fire kept firefighters busy.

The fire started around 4am Tuesday at 815 Ellrose.

Fire officials say the shed was completely destroyed and an adjacent home suffered some damage from the heat of the flames. Damage is estimated at around $60,000.

The cause remains undetermined.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
