What's Open And What's Closed On Victoria Day

Hopefully, you have already stocked up because most stores are closed on Victoria Day, including most grocery stores, beer stores and the LCBO.

Government offices are closed for the statutory holiday. There is no mail delivery, garbage or recycling pickup in Windsor and no parking enforcement.

Transit Windsor buses are running on a holiday schedule, and there is no public bus service in Tecumseh or Leamington.

While the 211 Call Centre remains open, the 311 Call Centre is closed on Monday.

Windsor community centres are closed except pre-arranged rentals.

The Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre is open 6am to 8pm, but all other municipal indoor pools are closed for the day.

Adventure Bay Family Water Park is open from 10am to 4pm.

The Windsor Public Library will reopen Tuesday, along with the Chimczuk Museum and Francois Baby House.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
