Investigation Ongoing In Deadly Hit And Run

Police have released pictures of two vehicles and a man who died after a hit and run in Windsor back on Saturday, April 29.

The Windsor Police Service is still hoping to talk with the drivers of two vehicles who were passing Tecumseh Rd. E at Alexis Rd. before officers arrived on the scene just before 4am.

The first vehicle was a white cube van, while the second was a smaller SUV. Police have identified the driver of a third vehicle, a larger SUV with a sunroof, and do not believe that vehicle was involved.

Police think it is possible the driver of the vehicle that hit the 43-year-old was not aware of the collision.

Investigators say Steven Hill was last seen around 1:30am that morning when he was dropped off by a cab driver at his apartment above the Little Memphis Cabaret at 2998 Tecumseh Rd. E. They would like to talk to anyone who saw him between that time and when he was hit.

Hill was found on the sidewalk.

Anyone with information should call police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4830, Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 (TIPS) or leave their information online at www.catchcrooks.com.
