UPDATE: Walker Rd. Reopens After Crash

Walker Rd. between South Talbot Rd. and County Rd. 8 in Tecumseh is open again after a crash involving a tractor-trailer and a school bus.

The OPP, paramedics and Tecumseh firefighters responded at around 8:30am on Tuesday, after a tractor-trailer rear-ended a school bus between South Talbot Rd. and County Rd. 8 in the Town of Tecumseh.

Constable Jim Root says there were six children on the bus, all between the ages of 9 and 12. They were on their way to St. Ursula's School in McGregor.

As a precaution, two of the children were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the bus and the tractor-trailer were not hurt.

Root says it is too early to know if charges will be laid.
