You might notice the lights at Caesars Windsor are all green Wednesday night.
The casino is helping raise awareness about trauma prevention.
Caesars Windsor and Windsor Regional Hospital join communities across the country Wednesday in recognition of National Injury Prevention Day. The CN Tower in Toronto, along with landmarks in London, Calgary, Edmonton and London will also light up green.
Windsor Regional Hospital is also launching a series of locally produced videos to raise awareness locally. The first one features local emergency officials responding to a mock motor vehicle crash. It will be shown at both the Metropolitan Campus and the Ouellette Campus in Windsor.

The country-wide program is organized by Parachute Canada, a national organization which says motor vehicle accidents, sports and recreational injuries, and seniors' falls account for 16,000 deaths every year. It says one child in the country dies every nine hours because of a preventable injury, more than all other causes combined.
Parachute Canada has also launched a social media campaign employing the hashtag #StopTheClock.
