Private Jet Has Emergency Landing in Windsor

Some tense moments Sunday morning as a private jet made an emergency landing at Windsor Airport.

Windsor Police say they responded to a request for assistance on a fire call shortly before 11am. A Gulfstream jet had radioed the airport tower to report a problem with its electrical system. It was not known if a fire breakout was imminent but emergency crews were on alert at the airport.

The plane was able to land safely and there was no report of a fire. Seven people were on board and there were no injuries.

The incident is being looked into.
