Cane Used As Weapon In Pharmacy Robbery

Police are looking for a cane wielding suspect after a robbery at a Windsor pharmacy.

The Windsor Police Service says on Tuesday just before 2pm, a man wearing surgical mask over his face entered Jackson Park Pharmacy at 2475 McDougall St.  The man used a cane to threaten an employee and steal an unknown quantity of prescription drugs.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, between the ages of 40-50, with a short, heavy build. He was last seen wearing a light coloured baseball hat, a brown jacket, a grey shirt, dark jeans and black shoes.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
