New Seacliff Dr. Design Presented On Thursday

Improvements are coming to 9 km of Seacliff Dr.

The work will take place from Kratz Sideroad in Kingsville to Sherk St. in Leamington to correct road deficiencies, examine capacity and safety for vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians and trails.

The improvements include intersection upgrades, turning lanes and cycling and pedestrian facilities.

A public meeting is planned for Thursday from 3pm to 8pm at the Leamington Kinsmen Recreation Complex to present the recommended design for the project.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
