Sleeping Thieves Arrested In Stolen Vehicle

Two people are facing charges after police found them sleeping in a stolen vehicle.

On Tuesday, Windsor police were called to an alleyway on Howard Ave. near Niagara St. where a man found his stolen license plates attached to another vehicle.

When police arrived, two men were found asleep in the front seats of the car. Officers opened the unlocked doors of the vehicle and woke up the men by announcing they were under arrest.

The investigation revealed the vehicle they were in was stolen earlier in the week.
