OPP Looking For Robbery Suspects

The OPP in Leamington are looking for two suspects believed to have been involved in three early morning robberies between August 22 and September 17, 2017.

Police say, shortly after midnight on August 22, a man was walking down Princess St. when he was approached and assaulted by a man. His Beats Solo headphones were stolen during the incident.

On September 6 around 1:30am, a woman was walking home when she was approached by two men who assaulted her and took her cell phone.

Finally, on September 17 around 1am, a man riding his bicycle on Bennie Ave. near Oak St. was assaulted by three men and had his bike stolen.

Police believe the same suspects may have been involved in these incidents. Anyone with information regarding the person(s) responsible for these crimes should immediately contact the OPP Essex County Major Crime Unit at 519-326-2544.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
