UPDATE: Temporary Lock Down At Caesars Windsor

Caesars Windsor was on lock down for a short time Friday morning as police investigated reports of a person with a weapon near the casino property.

Windsor police say the investigation is still ongoing, however there is no direct threat to the public.

A spokesperson from Caesars Windsor says they went on lockdown as part of their security protocols but staff and patrons of the casino were not in danger.

The lock down has since been lifted.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
