Update: Suspicious Fire Sends One Person To Hospital

Fire officials in Windsor say one person is in police custody, and another in a London hospital with severe burns after a fire on Arthur Rd.

The person in the hospital with burns to a third of his body is also considered a person of interest in the investigation into the suspicious fire Monday.

The fire broke out behind a home at 1515 Arthur, near Seminole St. and damaged the backs of two homes, a shed, a garage and a fence.  Damage is estimated around $100,000.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
