UPDATE: Power Restored in East Windsor

The lights are back on in portions of east Windsor.

A power failure that affected Enwin Untilities customers in Windsor's East Riverside section since Sunday afternoon has been restored, according to the utility company.

The exact cause of what turned out to be multiple outages has not been determined but the problem began around 5:30pm Sunday.  At one point there were up to four outages in East Riverside and over 1,100 customers in the dark, disrupting Thanksgiving weekend plans for residents.

Enwin reported that over 300 customers were still in the dark Monday morning, but all power was restored as of 4:30pm.
