Update: OPP Identify Suspected Credit Card Thief

Essex County Ontario Provincial Police say they have identified a suspect in the theft and credit card fraud this month.

Police say on October 15, 2017 a woman was parked at a business in Essex. While she was inside, a man went into the vehicle and took a credit card.

The card was later used at a gas station in Lakeshore and three other businesses.

Friday morning, police announced they identified their suspect, but the investigation is ongoing.

OPP have released photos of a suspect and ask anyone with information to contact them at (519) 723-2491 or call Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
