Suspicious Packages Investigated At Public Works Building

Windsor police say a powder found in a package at the City of Windsor Public Works building is not hazardous.

They were called to the building on McDougall St. on Wednesday, after an employee found a package with the powder inside.

The Explosive Disposal Unit conducted tests and it was determined that the powder was not hazardous

The road has now been reopened.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
