Police Investigating Two Suspicious Fires

The Windsor Police Service is investigating two suspicious fires at vacant homes on Caron Ave.

The first fire broke out around 5am on October 31, 2017 in the 400-block of Caron. The fire caused around $50,000 in damage to the vacant home.

A second fire happened on November 2 around 1:20am in the 600-block of Caron. Damage to this home is also estimated at $50,000.

There were no injuries as a result of these fires.

The Windsor Police Arson Unit and Windsor Fire and Rescue continue to investigate.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
