Needle Found In Chocolate Bar

You can add Windsor to the list of cities where needles have been found in Halloween candy.

Windsor police say a parent reported the discovery of a needle inside a chocolate bar in their child's Halloween loot. The tampered with candy was reported to Windsor police on Thursday after it was discovered by a child in east Windsor.

The child lives on Gregory Pl., in Little River Acres, and received the candy while trick or treating in the area. The child was not injured.

Windsor police are reminding the public to thoroughly inspect any candy received from an unknown source.

There were also reports of needles in chocolate bars in London and Chatham.
