Suspect Identified In Tire Puncturing Spree

A Windsor man is facing multiple mischief charges after being connected to a tire puncturing spree last month.

Windsor police asked for the public's assistance in identifying a man allegedly caught on camera puncturing multiple tires along Giles Blvd. on Sunday October 22, 2017.

Windsor poice say investigators identified the suspect and asked him to attend Windsor police headquaters.

The 26-year-old went to police headquarters and was arrested. He is charged with five counts of mischief and will likely face additional charges. He was released on a promise to appear with a future court date.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
