UPDATE: Power Restored in South Windsor

Enwin Utilities is reporting that the lights are back on in portions of Windsor.

The utility said close to 3,200 customers were without power in portions of the city Saturday afternoon.

Most of the outages were in South Cameron, Devonshire and Remington Park. Scattered outages had also been reported in the South Windsor and Devonshire areas.

The cause had not been determined though heavy rain and thunderstorms are moving through the Windsor-Essex region.

Enwin reports that power was restored to all areas shortly after 6pm Saturday.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
