Police Investigating Crash In Downtown Construction Zone

Windsor police officers are on the scene of an accident in a downtown construction zone.

Ouellette Ave. is closed between Wyandotte St. and Elliott St. for streetscaping work, but just after 4am Tuesday, a vehicle drove into the construction zone and hit a light pole.

Police have not released a lot of information so far, but say paramedics were on the scene.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
