Vehicle Clocked Going 80 km/hr Over Speed Limit

A 16-year-old from Lakeshore has had a lot of explaining to do after the Ontario Provincial Police spotted a vehicle going way over the speed limit.

The OPP say the car was spotted around 10pm Monday night on Lakeshore Rd. 229. Officers clocked the vehicle going more than 80 km/hr over the posted speed limit.

Now, the teen is charged with stunt driving.

Police suspended his license and impounded the vehicle.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
