Windsor Man Facing Cocaine Charge

A drug investigation has led to a trafficking charge against a Windsor man.

Windsor police say that the Drugs and Guns Unit (DIGS) searched a home on Ferndale Ave. at 1am Tuesday. They found 21.8g of cocaine, with a street value of less than $2,200.

Over $1,400 in cash was also seized, along with a digital scale and a cell phone, according to police.

Police arrested a 49-year-old man without incident. He is facing one count of possessing suspected cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
